Rescued in 2022 after a devastating electrocution that left him with severe third-degree burns, Kobong had to undergo life-saving surgery to amputate his right arm and leg, as well as the removal of an eye. Despite these life-changing injuries, his resilience has been nothing short of remarkable; he has since healed completely and has even taught himself an active climbing routine to navigate his world.

Because his injuries mean he can no longer survive in the wild, your adoption provides him with a permanent, loving sanctuary and specialised care at our primate center in Java.
